Primaries' Runoff Elections

On this program, Ron & Dr. Tony Knopp (History Professor for the University of Texas at Brownsville / T.S.C.) gave highlights of the Valley's run-off elections which will be voted for on April 13.  Of special note were the Cameron County Sherrif's runoff between Omar Lucio and Able Perez, and the runoff for the Willacy County District Attorney between Ruth Gomez and Juan Guerra.  Clips were also shown from the two Democratic candidates for Texas House district 43, Roberto Gutierrez and Veronica Gonzales, and also the two Republican candidates for the United States Congressional district 15, Michael Thamm and Alexander Hamilton.
