Runoffs Run On!

April 11, 2004

For the first semgent of this show, we re-aired clips from last Sunday's show to provide an opportunity for voters to hear more about the candidates which they will decide on this Tuesday, April 13.  During the remainder of the program, Ron interviewed both of the District Attorney candidates for Willacy county, Ruth Gomez, and the incumbent Juan Guerra, who have been in a heated battle throughout their Democratic Primary campaigns.  The incumbent, Juan Guerra, responded to his defeat in 1996 by "Mickey" the mouse, and Ruth Gomez, his challenger, responded to why she is running against her former employer, District Attorney Guerra.
