A Superintendent and a President

In the first half of this edition of "Valley NewsLine," Ron took the viewers to a Brownsville school where the current Brownsville superintendent was teaching a summer Algebra "camp," getting directly involved with students, a very unique endeavour for any superintendent in the U.S.

In the latter half of the show, Don Giffen of Grimsell's Seed Company and Nursery in Harlingen commented on his visit to Washington, D.C. to attend the State Funeral for President Ronald Reagan.  Topics of discussion ranged from his conversations with Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Prince Charles, to his description of the funeral in the Episcopal Cathedral in Washington!
