McAllen Bond 2005

After Ron gave updates on the "Airbus project" and the current status of the TxDOT contracts which were cancelled for April and suspended "temporarily" for the rest of the year, Tracy Girault (the 2006 PTA President for Elementary School) and Jesse Treviņo (a former McAllen school board trustee for 11 years) discussed the importance of providing more for the education of Valley children, namely by gaining more funds to repair and upgrade schools by passing the McAllen School Bond which is currently on the ballot for vote ending on election day, Saturday, May 7, 2005.
